If you watch the Weather Channel -my parents do but I try to ignore it - you've heard that New Hyde Park where I live had really bad weather yesterday.
This is what my backyard looked like:

...and there was a whole river going down my street...
If that happened at our house Sam would just ignore it, Sadie would be hiding in the laundry room and Trixie would be on my bed shivering under a blanket. You are very brave.
