Time in my Airstream with Chip

Well, it is happening again - my parents have been leaving me in my Airstream and going about their business without me...

So I won't feel bad they bought me a new stuffed animal for a friend.  Meet Chip.

Chip is very nice but he doesn't make up for the companionship of my parents....and he never offers me anything to eat!

New Airstream friends

I am in one of my favorite places - the Airstream factory.  My Airstream is having some good things done to it and I am repaying all my hard working friends here by guarding the waiting room...

I also made two new Airstream friends - Lance and Thomas.  They spoke to me and my mom about my blog and even had their picture taken with me.  They must like me very much -

Hard times

It's been a difficult few days for me, my parents and my Airstream...

We started on a road trip on Thursday.  Some person made us drive into a ditch.  It was scary!  Very scary!  We were all scared!

This is my Airstream in the ditch...

A very nice lady came to see if we were OK.  A state trooper came to help us.  The state trooper knew my dear friend Mike from Florida.  Mike was a state trooper before he was an Army guy.  Isn't that interesting!

This is the nice  state trooper.  He was very fond of me... My mom is in the picture too...

Then today one of the tires on my Airstream went flat.  My dad changed it.  Because of that we got to our campground very late.  I was very hungry.  I almost starved!

It was a very difficult time for me.  But I am glad that my parents and I are all safe!  I know you are too!

Mice in my Airstream

My father finally took be aside and told me what the problem was with my Airstream.

It seems that mice got into it while it was parked at the base and they chewed up a lot of wires and stuff.  Obviously mice do not have a very refined palette if they eat wires and stuff.

Anyhow, my good friend George is fixing it and I know that everything will be OK.

I don't like mice.

This is a mouse.

My parents aren't telling me everything

Sometimes my parents don't tell me everything.  They try to protect me from bad stuff.  Even when I give my Mom my most intense stare she still doesn't tell me anything.

I think there is a problem with my Airstream.  It's not in the driveway and my Dad has been spending a lot of time talking to my good friend George who takes care of my Airstream.

I hope everything is OK..

Airstream - Jackson Center

Today my parents and I were in one of my most special places - Jackson Center where my Airstream was made.

Whenever I am here I immediately begin my job of guarding the waiting room.  Here is a picture of me on guard duty...

Now it may look as if I am sleeping but my Mom assured me that the noises I was making were scaring everyone away...

I also made two new friends at the WBCCI offices.  Hello Julia and Cyndi.  It was a pleasure meeting me.

Hiatus

Hiatus.  It's a nice word that my mom taught me.  It means I've been away for a while but now I am back.  I've been on hiatus.

So, to catch you up.  I've been seeing a dog behaviorist.  He says I'm normal.

I went camping with my parents.  We went to a nice place near a river where there were lots of canoes.  I made several new friends.
These are my friends David and Jon and my Dad.

This is me in a kayak with my Dad.  I thought they were supposed to be in the water..

Then we saw my Grandma Emily.

Then we went to an Airstream rally.  I was very popular there.  There were whole groups of people who sat around waiting their turns to pet me.  It was a very tiring but happy time.

Now I am home resting between trips...

An Airstream day -- sort of

My parents must have realized that I was missing my Airstream so we got in the car and went to a rally somewhere south of here - Sarasota I think.

A rally is a bunch of Airstreams in one place with their people and canines and a scattering of cats.

First we went to a store and a lady gave me treats.  Several other people petted me too and told me how beautiful I was.  Some people shared shiba inu stories with my parents.  I enjoy this.

At the rally I walked around with mom and day and then we went to a happy hour that turned into dinner.  Thank you Hunter!  Again I was the center of attention.

On the way home I was very tired and fell asleep!  I woke up for a bit and then went to sleep again.
