Florida Rally

I have spent the last few days at the Florida State Airstream Rally.  It was fun and I got to see some of my human as well as my canine friends at the rally.

Naturally I entered the pet show and won two blue ribbons - one for having the most mysterious heritage - whatever that means - and one for being the most mature (read oldest) canine there.

Here are some pictures of me at the pet show...

Here I am patiently waiting to enter the ring...

Here I am entering the judging part...

I am very happy now that I've won!
My Dad gave me a ride home in his golf cart!

Modesty

I am a modest canine.

When I have to go out and make my wee-wee I try to look for a secluded spot to do my business...

You can't see me, can you?

A day at Paw Beach

Yesterday my parents took me to Paw Beach.

First we met my dear friends Howie and Braith and had lunch.

These are my dear friends Braith and Howie.

Then we all took a walk on the beach.  Braith and Howie were surprised and delighted to see so many canines playing together.

I put my paws in the water.  It seemed to make my mom happy.

But mostly I just walked around...

Here I am greeting another canine...
It is a very large puppy.

Looking at boats

I've been getting out quite a bit lately.

On Friday my parents took me to a place I had been to before where I can walk around and look at people and boats.

 I had a good sniff...

I got mail!

Yesterday I got a letter from my dear friend Bertha in Colorado.

She thanked me - very graciously - for sending her a copy of my latest book where I talk about how I spent time at her home and helped her patrol.  It was a lovely letter.

This is my letter from Bertha.

Cerberus

This is a picture of me and my dear friend Cerberus.

Yes, I know that Cerberus is stuffed.

Everyone is entitled to an imaginary friend when they're growing up - right?

Cats

As I begin my patrols of the neighborhood I have noticed an infestation of felines.

I have learned that one of these felines shares a home with a dog and will be leaving shortly.  That is good.  Other felines are just wandering the streets.  This is not good.

I must bring these felines under control.

This is a feline aka a cat:
